| What's with all the title boxes not showing titles or music or anything? Someone needs to fix that, Thanks. Now down to business. Nathan and I got back safely from Myrtle Beach. It was nice down there. I spent most of my time with Grace and the Kids(Noel's family)by the pool. Those kids are so fun. I blew off my Wednesday class to fly down and meet Nathan for a few days and it was definitely worth it! LT is much different when you are not a student. Although I was not a student I did still learn some things. I got to sit in on some session and worship night. I think it's interesting how sometimes God let's you know when you need to change certain attitudes or action(or lack thereof) in such a subtly way. And then if you don't catch his gentle guidance he smacks you upside the head in a not so subtle way. I've decided that among other things, I want a mentor. Someone who is older and wiser and has been through things in life and is willing to just sit and talk with my about their experiences and listen to some of mine. And also listen to my questions. And help keep me accountable. The hard part is asking someone to do such a favor. Any suggestions? Other than walking up to someone and saying "You're old and wise, wanna help break me?" In other news: I am finished with the LCC ITP program. Wow, that's a big statement. That's a big part of my life that is just finished with. We have our graduation party on Monday and then I will probably never see most of those people again. And then I enter the real interpreting world....scarrrrry! And now I have to ease my way back into having no school, no practicum sites, no journal entires, no studying, no library time and actually hanging out with friends and having a social life(which is basically impossible to do in the program.) Which leads me to my next topic.... As told on Andy's blog, which can be found at moestevenson.net we went up to Holland to visit some locals aka, Teresa and Matt. OHHH man was that good times. We ended up playing 36 holes of miniature golf and going out to Logan's to dinner. Then we headed back to Teresa's for some fun and games that lasted into the weeeee hours of the morning. All complete with stomach aches from laughing too hard. Here's some pic's of the fun. And that pic of the 3 balls....we didn't arrange that, that's how they came to a stop after putting. It happened in this order, pink, yellow, purple. It was amazing. BTW check out Andy's putter. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You know what stinks? A lot of friends don't use livejournal, they have blogs. And therefore are not allowed on my friends list. :-( So if you'd like to Nate's journal and a miriad of others such as Danny and Andy and Matt and...you get the picture, then you'll have to hop on over to www.frozenembryo.net. That's Nate's site. And most the most important news of the day: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELISABETH! | ||||||||
